LONDON - Within just minutes of Milos Raonic's opening-round win, the Canadian contingent drew even stronger at Wimbledon as the 107th-ranked player from Niagara Falls, Ontario, upset the 29th-ranked Croatian Ivo Karlovic 6-4, 7-6(5), 7-6(4).

The match lasted two hours but it was worth it for the 29-year-old Canuck who notched his first win at Wimbledon since 2011.

Naturally, the road only gets tougher for Dancevic at the All-England Club but this was a very deserving for the Canadian veteran as he looks to make even more noise in the second round, hoping to further strengthen his country's status at this year's Wimbledon.
