In the second day of action at Roland Garros – the French Open – Novak Djokovic’s first round match was subject to rain delays. The number two seed coming into the tournament, Djokovic invited the ball boy holding his umbrella to come sit down, and they shared some drinks and laughs to the delight of the audience. Once the rain stopped, Djokovic defeated Joao Sousa in straight sets (6-1, 6-2, 6-4).
Djokovic moved on to the second round, where he defeated Jeremy Chardy of France in straight sets. He will face Marin Cilic in the third round on the clay courts of Roland Garros.
