The Joker Was upbeat and positive after a fruitless week at the olympics.

He came out a little flat here in his first match in Toronto but after a few games he was back firing on all cylinders and dispatched  Aussie Bernard Tomic 6-2,6-3.


In his press conference following the match He said that he felt energetic and enthused and was dissapointed that Del Potro and Tsonga had lost earlier in the day, but understood the fatigue issue and was looking forward to his next round against America Sam Querrey.


Tomorrow features Marin Cilic the 10th seed meeting Janko Tipsarevic 5th seeded 5th followed by American Mardy Fish 11th vs Argentinan Juan Monaco seeded 7th--The Marquee match tomorrow  evening is Andy Murray  2nd seed vs Canadian Milos Raonic at the 16 spot in what promises to be a street fight from the outset.
