Winston-Salem, N.C. - In a slate that features numerous American's, Mother Nature may be a factor in Winston-Salem. With rain scheduled to move into the area in early afternoon, it may be a day of dodging raindrops and squeezing matches in between periods of rain.

If you place any stock in forecasts these days, it appears that there should be windows in between the rain around mid afternoon and in the evening. But if you live in North Carolina this summer, you are well aware of the upside down weather in regards to precipitation. Forecasts have been unpredictable and in what is normally dry season, has been wet. But in the latest update by tournament officials, play is on schedule and should start at noon with David Goffen facing one of the many Americans in the field, Jack Sock.

Other Americans on slate for Monday include, Sam Querrey, James Blake, Bobby Reynolds, Steve Johnson, Rhyne Williams, Mardy Fish, Michael Russell and Tim Smyczek.
